Still on a thin tongue SB dunk binge, I had to grab this quickstrike Nike Dunk SB Low Ishod Wair Decon Mismatch.
Clearly, these are different from the left to the right regarding stitching, liner, tag, laces and outsole. These came with spare mismatched laces in case you want to get them with the same color laces on both shoes. These also feature some Ishod Wair branding/graphics on the insoles.
These basically scream “summer” so you’re looking for medium or light wash denim and a light colored top. You can play off the offwhite with some greys as well, if they are a lighter shade. Overall, you definitely want to keep it breezy with these. Try to not wear anything else blatantly flashy, so that the mismatch effect can really take center stage on the shoe.
At first I was not really feeling these but after taking a chance on them, I’m glad I grabbed them! While not quite up to the quality of the black decon dunks I grabbed earlier, they are still decently constructed and unique in my collection. Highly recommend these for the more eclectic sneakerhead.
How Are The Materials?
The materials are not bad on these! They aren’t as good as the last decon dunks I reviewed, though. Basically you have a nubuck/short-hair suede upper. It’s smooth and of decent-good quality. The perf all over the shoe might turn some off, but it does add some ventilation to these kicks. As per other deconstructed SBs, the tongue padding is exposed on the top.
How Do They Fit?
These Nike Dunk SB Low Ishod Wair Decon Mismatch fit snugly and comfortably for me at true to size. The lack of padding does give some extra room, however the shoe is still very narrow. The thin uppers on the shoe should break in nicely for you after a wear or two.
